Snab was founded by Jean Leys, who has been working on large and complex custom application development projects for more than 15 years. As a java developer (7 years) and as a business analyst (10 years), he knows both the technical and strategic requirements of these projects.

“My biggest driver in founding Snab is reducing the enormous amount of waste produced on almost every software project. The budget overruns, the features nobody uses, the documents nobody reads, the waiting for information, poor communication,… And then there is the waste for the user who loses time and money using a poorly crafted software product."
The fundamental problem with traditional application development is that it takes too long and that it is not aligned with the organization’s business goals. That result is almost inevitable given a flawed approach. Coding is a manual activity: it takes time to write and maintain thousands of lines of code. But there is also the time analysts spend, not in gathering the business requirements, but in translating them in a format the developer understands.
“My passion in both roles has always been about creating value, not just software.”
Snab fills and fixes this void between (slow) application development and (under-)delivering on the real business needs with a killer combination of new technology and our Business Benefits Approach. Instead of slow manual coding, we use the superfast and proven Mendix low-code application platform. Instead of asking for features to deliver, we go after the business benefits to deliver.
Do you recognize the waste in traditional software development? Contact us and step aboard the express train to app delivery with benefits.”
